Oklahoma City SEO Agency
Clear Strategy. Honest Work. Real Results.
BMo Ventures is an SEO agency in Oklahoma City, founded by Branden Morrow. We help local businesses show up in Google search, Google Maps, and AI-powered search platforms like ChatGPT and Perplexity. We’re not a big agency, and that is the point. You work directly with the person doing the research and running the work, and everything gets explained in plain language.
Who You Will Be Working With
Meet Branden Morrow
I started BMo Ventures after watching too many businesses spend money on search or ads without ever getting a straight answer about what was working. The reports were confusing, the strategy was never written down, and nobody could explain why any of it was supposed to work.
Before this, I spent twelve years in marketing, starting as an intern and working up to Head of Marketing. I ran digital strategy for clients at Ackerman McQueen, marketing at the Oklahoma City Thunder, and tourism search and content for the Chickasaw Nation, where I built the SEO and paid search in-house instead of paying an agency more to do it worse. At TokenEx, I owned the search programs that drove most of the company's new business. Then three and a half years as Head of Marketing at LiveBarn. I have worked agency-side and client-side, and I know how rarely anyone explains what they are actually doing.
Most of what I do now is the part that usually gets skipped. Keyword research before any recommendation. Analytics and tracking set up before a single page is touched. A written strategy you read and approve before the work starts.
How We Think About SEO
What We Believe
Most businesses that come to us have already tried something. They hired an agency that sent confusing reports and couldn’t explain what they were doing. They tried doing it themselves and got overwhelmed. They ran Google Ads without the tracking to see which clicks were actually turning into customers. What they all have in common is they spent money and time without getting a clear picture of what was actually happening.
We think the problem is usually not the business or even the competition. It’s the approach. Too many providers jump straight into making changes without doing the research first. They optimize pages without understanding what customers are actually searching for. They chase rankings without thinking about whether those rankings will turn into phone calls.
We start with research. We look at your market, your competitors, and the actual search data before we recommend anything. Then we put the strategy in writing so you can see the plan, understand the logic, and make informed decisions about your investment.
The other thing we think most providers are missing is AI search. Tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews are becoming a real part of how people find and evaluate local businesses. This is not a future prediction. It’s happening now. We build AI search optimization into every strategy because we think the businesses that get ahead of this shift early will have a meaningful advantage over the next few years.
We are based in Oklahoma City and we work with businesses across the state. We chose to focus on Oklahoma because local search is local. The competitive landscape in Tulsa is different from OKC, which is different from Edmond or Broken Arrow. Knowing those markets makes the strategy better.
Our Process
How an Engagement Works
Every client goes through the same structured process. This is how we keep the quality consistent and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
-
We start by learning about your business, your goals, your customers, and your competition. This is a real conversation, not a form. The better we understand your situation, the better the strategy will be.
-
Before we optimize anything, we make sure you can measure results. We set up or clean up Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console so every decision going forward is backed by real data.
-
We run keyword research, analyze your competitors, and build a complete SEO strategy. You receive a documented plan that covers site architecture, content priorities, keyword targets, and AI search optimization. Nothing happens until you review and approve it.
-
We produce the actionable documents your team needs to implement the strategy: content briefs, meta specifications, schema markup, FAQ content, and internal linking guides. Everything is ready to use, not a theoretical recommendation.
-
We work alongside you or your team to put the plan into action. Whether you need us to guide a developer, review what has been built, or handle pieces directly, we stay involved until the work is done right.
-
For retainer clients, we provide monthly reporting, continued content development, technical monitoring, and regular strategy updates. We track performance across both Google and AI search platforms and adjust the plan as the data comes in.
Expertise
What We’re Good At
Local SEO
Google Business Profile optimization, local keyword strategy, citation management, and content development for local search. We know what moves the needle for Oklahoma businesses specifically.
Content Strategy
Research-backed content planning using keyword data, competitive analysis, and site architecture. We build content roadmaps that drive real results, not blog posts nobody reads.
Technical SEO
Site audits, architecture, schema markup, and page speed. The technical foundation that makes everything else work. We speak the language of both search engines and business owners.
Analytics and Tracking
Google Analytics 4, Tag Manager, Search Console, and conversion tracking. We make sure you can measure what’s working before we start optimizing anything.
AI Search Optimization
Optimizing for ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. We understand how these platforms find and recommend businesses, and we build that knowledge into every strategy.
Industry Verticals
Specific experience with law firms, real estate agents, and accountants. We understand the search patterns, competition, and client acquisition challenges unique to each of these industries.
Before You Hire Anyone
Common Questions
-
Branden Morrow, who founded the company. There is no account manager layer here, so the person who researches your market and writes your strategy is the same person you email and the same person on your calls. For specialist execution work we sometimes bring in trusted contractors, and when we do, we stay responsible for the quality of that work and they are held to the same confidentiality terms we are. You will always know who is touching your account.
-
Ask what they will do in the first thirty days and listen for whether the answer is research or activity. A good answer describes learning your market before changing anything. A weak one lists tasks with no reasoning behind them. Three more worth checking: will they put the strategy in writing before they start, can they explain what they are doing in language you understand, and do you keep ownership of your accounts and data if you leave. Anyone who guarantees a number one ranking is promising something nobody can deliver.
-
No. Monthly retainers run month to month and either side can end the engagement with thirty days written notice. If you have prepaid for work that has not been delivered by the end of that notice period, that portion is refunded. One-time projects like audits and strategy packages are quoted and paid as a single piece of work rather than an ongoing commitment. The full terms are on our terms of service page.
-
We do not guarantee rankings, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Search results move with algorithm changes, competitors and market conditions that nobody controls. What we do commit to is showing you the reasoning behind every recommendation and the data behind every report, so you can see whether the work is moving and decide accordingly. And if we look at your situation on the consultation call and think search is not where your money should go, we will tell you before you spend anything.
-
Mostly small and mid-sized Oklahoma businesses and professional practices, with the deepest experience in law firms, real estate and accounting. Size is not really the filter though. The better question is whether people search Google for what you sell. Ongoing SEO starts at $1,500 a month and a one-time strategy engagement starts at $3,500, so the work fits businesses where a new client is worth enough to make that math work quickly. If it is not, we will say so.
-
A documented strategy you review and approve before any work begins, and then the materials that come out of it: content briefs, meta specifications, schema markup, FAQ content and internal linking guides. These are built to be used rather than read, so your team or your developer can act on them directly. On retainer engagements you also get monthly reporting that covers visibility in both Google and AI search. Final deliverables are yours once they are paid for.
