Local SEO Services
When someone nearby searches for what you sell, they usually see a map with three businesses, then a list of websites. Some ask an AI tool like ChatGPT instead. BMo Ventures works on what decides all of it: your Google Business Profile, your business listings, your reviews and the pages on your site, in the order the research says matters most.

What Local SEO Is
Local SEO is the work that gets a business found when people nearby search for what it sells.
We also know a few industries well: law firms, accountants and real estate agents.
Where It Shows Up
In the map pack (the three businesses shown under the map), in the regular results below it, and in the answers AI tools give when someone asks them for a recommendation.
Who It’s For
BMo Ventures provides local SEO services for small businesses that serve customers in a defined area, whether that’s one city or a whole region.
Where We Start
Some searches show a map and some don’t, so the first job is always to look at what your customers actually see when they search, then work on the pieces that decide it.
Six Pieces of Work
What a Local SEO Engagement Includes
Six pieces of work, each tied to something Google says it looks at or something we can measure.
Google Business Profile
Your profile is what shows in the map pack. We set your categories and services to match how people search, and make sure your hours, service area and contact details are complete and correct. Google says businesses with complete and accurate information are more likely to show up in local results.
Business Profile optimization →Business Listings
Your business also appears on directories, map apps and industry sites. These listings are sometimes called citations. We find them and make them match: the same name, the same phone number, the same details. When listings disagree, it’s harder for Google and AI tools to be sure they’re looking at the same business.
A Review System
Google says more reviews and positive ratings can help your local ranking. BMo Ventures sets up a simple routine for when to ask, what to send and how to reply, so reviews arrive steadily instead of in bursts.
Pages That Say What You Do and Where
Each service you want to be found for gets a page that says plainly what it is and where you offer it. Where a place earns its own page, it gets one. Where it doesn’t, it gets a line, not a thin copy of another page.
Content marketing services →Keyword Research
BMo Ventures pulls the searches your customers make, and each one comes with its monthly volume, its difficulty, and how many sites link to the pages already ranking for it. That’s how we decide which searches to go after first.
Tracking and an AI Check
Calls, form fills and profile actions are tracked before anything changes, so results are measured against where you started. Every engagement also includes a check of how AI tools answer questions about businesses like yours.

I've had a fantastic experience with BMO Ventures. They provided consultation for my real estate business and gave expert advice for my freelance financial management services. They were professional and helpful throughout our business relationship.
Five Stages You Can Follow
How a Local SEO Engagement Works
Five stages, and you know what’s happening at each one.
20 to 30 minutes
First call
A 20 to 30 minute conversation about your business, the area you serve and what you want more of. If local SEO isn’t the right spend for you right now, we’ll say so. If it is, you get a proposal within two business days.
Before anything changes
Tracking
Before anything changes, we make sure calls, form fills and profile actions are being counted, so there’s a starting point to measure from.
About two weeks
Research and plan
We look at the results pages for your searches, the businesses in your map pack, your listings and what AI tools say, then write the plan. That takes about two weeks from kickoff, not counting time waiting on approvals.
You approve the plan
Nothing on your site or profile changes before this.
The work
Profile, listings, reviews and pages, in the order the plan sets. Nothing goes live without your approval.
Every month
Reporting
A monthly report on what changed, what drove it and what’s next. Google usually finds and indexes new pages early. Rankings take longer, and around six months in there’s enough data to see what’s working and what needs to change.
A Written Plan You Approve
Research First, Then Changes
We don’t change your website or your profile until the research is done and you’ve approved the plan. You get a written strategy covering the searches to target, the pages to build or fix, the profile and listing work, and what AI tools say about your market today. You approve it, then we do it.
The research matters because local search isn’t the same for every business. For most local searches we check, like a CPA in Edmond or a plumber in Tulsa, Google shows a map pack of three nearby businesses above the websites, and that’s usually where the calls go. Some searches show no map at all, and then the website carries the whole load. The businesses in the pack aren’t always the ones with the most reviews either: we’ve seen a firm with three reviews sit in the pack next to competitors with hundreds, because relevance and distance count too. What you need depends on where you are, the area you serve and the searches you want to show up for. That’s why BMo Ventures looks at the actual results page for your searches before recommending anything.
When a business comes to us because it isn’t showing up, the gap is usually specific and fixable: a profile that’s half finished, pages that don’t say clearly what they do or where, listings that don’t match, or tracking that can’t show what’s working. Every business starts somewhere different, so we measure against where you started, not against someone else’s results.
This takes time to build. If you need leads while it does, Google Ads management can run alongside it.

Price, Timing and Results
Local SEO Questions
How much should I pay for local SEO?
With BMo Ventures, local SEO starts at $750 a month for upkeep, $1,500 to $3,000 one time for a full setup, or $1,500 a month for ongoing work with new content. What moves the price is how many searches and places you want to show up for, and how much content that takes.
Is local SEO worth it?
It is when people near you search for what you sell and the results page leaves room for you. We check that on the first call by looking at the actual results for your searches. Small budgets and testing are welcome, and if it isn’t the right spend for your business right now, we’ll tell you.
Can I do local SEO myself?
Yes, the basics. You can claim and fill in your Google Business Profile, ask every customer for a review and keep your details consistent. The harder part is knowing which searches to target, which pages to build and which listings are wrong. That’s the research BMo Ventures does, and you can take the plan and run it yourself.
How long does local SEO take to work?
Google usually finds and indexes your pages early, though it isn’t automatic. Rankings take longer. Around six months in, there’s enough data to see what’s working and what needs to change, and rankings move up and down along the way. For most local businesses, calls come from the Business Profile before the website.
What’s the difference between local SEO and regular SEO?
Local SEO is for searches where location matters, like a service plus a city, or anything ending in "near me". Those results include the map pack, so your Google Business Profile, listings and reviews count alongside your website. Regular SEO is the website side on its own. Most local businesses need both.
Do I need local SEO if I already have a Google Business Profile?
Having a profile is the start. Google says profiles with complete and accurate information are more likely to show up, and that reviews and ratings can help. The profile also needs a website that backs up what it says, and listings on other sites that match it.
How do you measure local SEO results?
We set up tracking before any changes: calls, form fills, profile views and actions, and rankings for your target searches in your area, including the map pack. Every engagement includes an AI visibility check. You get a monthly report showing what changed and what we’re doing next.
Is SEO dead now with AI?
No. When we ask ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity for a local recommendation, the businesses holding the Google map pack are usually among the names, and the rest come from business listings, directories and businesses' own websites. The same local SEO work feeds both.
